OVEN & STOVE ISSUES

WILL NOT TURN ON

When an electric stove will not start, first check if the appliance power cord is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are on. You should check the pilot light on gas stoves. If the oven power cord is plugged in or if the pilot light is on, it means some other part of the stove will have to be repaired. The reason for the problem could be an surface element, infinite switch, burner igniter or broil and bake element.

BURNER DOESN’T HEAT

A burner or stove that does not produce heat doesn’t do much good. Your oven won’t heat if there’s a broken oven sensor or bake element. A burner won’t ignite when an element breaks or when the burner switch or terminal block don’t work. We are able to fix these common problems in no more than 1-2 hours after we arrive.

PROGRAM PROBLEMS

It is safe to assume the control panel on an oven is broken when the program or timer settings aren’t working. If that’s the case, we know how to replace control boards on LG, Sears, GE, KitchenAid, Kenmore and several other brands of ranges, stoves and ovens. We offer a warranty on control boards and the replacement parts we use for this stove repair service.

OVEN IS VERY HOT

You need a hot oven. Although not too hot! When the oven heat is too hot, it might be due to a problem with the sensor or thermostat. Our technicians are able to find the location of the issue and repair it. Be careful if troubleshooting this problem for fear of skin burns from the high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER DOES NOT LIGHT

A reoccurring stove problem is that an igniter will glow but it doesn’t light. The cause is from a broken safety valve, electronic control, surface igniter or sensor. We can determine whether we are able to repair these appliance parts or if we will need to replace the part.

DOOR DOESN’T OPEN

New self-cleaning ovens sometimes have door issues often. The door won’t open after the cleaning cycle. We monitor the door closure, seal and thermostat to troubleshoot why the door will not open and then we complete the repair so we can fix the problem.
